Beautiful vintage pair of hand-carved wooden figurines from Oberammergau, Germany, a Bavarian village famous for its traditional woodcarving.
The set includes two detailed male figures, each individually carved with expressive faces, clothing, hats, and rustic details. One figure depicts a working man with a pickaxe, while the taller figure carries a hat and wears a long cloak.
One figure retains its original gold foil label on the bottom reading "Holzschnitzereien Oberammergau," identifying it as an Oberammergau wood carving. Sold as a pair.
