Shipping policy
SHIPPING
Products usually ship within 1-2 days of the order date. Tamara Scott Designs orders ship from Atlanta, GA USA. Some packages may require a signature.
Tamara Scott Designs is not responsible for any lost orders, damaged items, or missing items when shipping by USPS. Charges for reshipping returned orders (incorrect address provided, refused/undeliverable orders, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Methods:
We generally use the United States Postal Service. (USPS) for shipping orders. The following transit times are approximate and can be affected by inclement weather, seasonal Holidays and other causes beyond our control.
Domestic Service
First-Class Mail: Delivery in 3-7 business days in most cases
Generally packages deliver in 3 to 7 business days after shipping. In rare cases delivery may take longer, please allow up to 20 business days. Most First-Class packages are packaged in padded bubble envelopes.
Priority Mail: Delivery in 2-3 business days in most cases
Generally packages deliver in 2 to 3 business days after shipping. In rare cases delivery may take longer, and is not a guaranteed service. Most Priority mail packages are packaged in padded cardboard boxes.
International Service
First-Class Package International Service: 3 weeks or longer depending on region.
Generally packages deliver in 7 to 21 business days after shipping depending on final destination region. In rare cases delivery may take longer, and can take up to 8 weeks.
Priority Mail International: 6-10 days or longer depending on region.
Generally packages deliver in 6 to 10 business days after shipping depending on final destination region. In rare cases delivery may take longer, and is not a guaranteed service. Please allow up to 8 weeks to arrive in some rare cases.
Lost or Damaged International Shipments
We make every effort to properly package, label and record international shipments. Please understand that after an order leaves the USA we have no control over it. Final delivery of international orders is handled by the postal service of the recipient's country. On rare occasions an international order may get lost or damaged. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of a package once it leaves our store for an international destination.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Orders sent to International addresses may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, as these vary from country to country, and we are not able to provide you with this information. Please contact your local customs office before completing the order to find out what fees, if any, may be charged when your package arrives. Please note that you are considered the importer of goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
International packages must clear customs before being delivered and that is the most common cause for delays. Holidays at either end can also delay the arrival of your shipment.
