The Artist's Bio: Tamara Scott is originally from Oklahoma, studied at the Art Institute of Dallas, University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Tulsa Junior College, the Spruill Center for the Arts, and Marc Adams School of Woodworking. Her career started out as a Graphic Artist and Illustrator expanding her focus on painting, portraiture, woodcarving, old masters reproductions, silversmithing, mixed media, beadwork, as well as bronze and silver clay. With over 20 years of experience as a professional artist and teacher, Tamara is also a certified Art Clay silver instructor.
Currently, Tamara is focusing on painting, beadwork, antiquing, reproductions, and mixed media. She designs beadwork patterns that specialize in bead weaving techniques and provides clear, comprehensive instructions, graphics, and text. When she's not teaching, Tamara is designing and creating artwork in her studio located in Atlanta, Georgia.
